Klir Beck was a Mount Vernon, Maine artist who was one of a group of artists who came to Key West in 1935 as part of the Federal Emergency Relief Administration and the Key West Art Project. A painter, sculptor, architect and naturalist, Beck worked for the State of Maine for over 25 years. Education: Art Students’ League.
